Working group looked for the best model to support renewable energy

A working group appointed by the Ministry of Employment and the Economy has evaluated whether a model based on investment aid, operating aid or certificates best fulfils the goals set for the new support scheme for renewable energy. The group also considered competitive bidding process as a part of the new support system

Energy efficiency agreements for 2017–2025 to be launched

Four new energy efficiency agreements will begin next year in Finland for the period 2017–2025. The aim of the agreements is to improve the efficiency of energy use in industry, the energy and service sectors, the real estate sector, the municipal sector and in oil-heated properties.

Minister Rehn will visit Seoul and Tokyo with a Team Finland business delegation on 16–20 May 2016. In the visit to the Republic of Korea the delegation will feature representatives from 32 companies.
