The New Mining Act

Objective and tasks

The objective of the reform is to replace obsolete mining legislation with the up-to-date legislation in which the environmental considerations, the citizens' civil rights, the land owners' rights and possibilities of influencing of the municipalities have  been taken into consideration and on the other hand the preconditions for prospecting for ore and mining activity have on the other hand been secured.
